NORTH Korea’s ceremonial leader is set to visit South Korea on Friday when the Pyeongchang 2018 Winter Olympics begin in the latest sign that tensions between the two neighbours may finally be subsiding.

Kim Yong-nam, 90, the oldest member of the North Korean leadership, is expected to meet South Korea’s president, Moon Jae-in.  Seoul’s Unification Ministry said on Sunday Kim would lead a 22-strong delegation that was expected to arrive in South Korea on Friday for a three-day trip.
