I’m not sure if this case has been solved but they’re so many like this one.
(CMR) The Royal Cayman Islands Police service has requested the public’s assistance on the eighth anniversary of the disappearance of Jamaican nurse, Kerran Baker.
Detectives with the Serious Crime Review Team have reactivated the investigation into Kerran’s disappearance in recent months, and are treating it as a murder inquiry. They were appealing for any information, however small, someone may have about what happened to Kerran.
Baker, who was 25 years old and living in Bodden Town when she went missing on Sunday, 31 July 2011. Kerran’s car was found the day she was reported missing across from Pedro Castle. Lead investigator into the matter Detective Constable John Southern says. I’m not sure if they’ve connected anyone as yet to her but hopefully her family will get the information that can help them to come to terms with their loss. This is not an isolated case, there are many cases like this happening in the caribean since of late to our women, many of which appears to be premeditated murder, which might involve stalking, traps and a lot of wrong information being passed around about these women that may lead to them being targeted and killed.
